Because it was challenging (in a good way) and I felt muscles I never knew existed shaking and burning, lol. Instructor Ysabel greeted me at the front, asked good questions like, “is this your first time & do you have any injuries?” Ysabel explained to me how to use the equipment and constantly corrected me on my form in class. I love how the instructor really focused on form and gave a modification option as well.

The heat and humidity felt really good to sweat off a lot of toxins. The front desk was nice during check in and the instructor showed me around the facility. Space was clean and organized. I used to do pilates in LA, and have tried to find that level of quality and challenge in the East Bay. Shannon led a very organized flow, with many options to make moves easier or harder. She clearly is super experienced and knowledgable. There was a total beginner who got great guidance, while ensuring a solid workout for more advanced students. The studio is brand new and well decorated. I am excited to have found this studio close to my home!

I love that it’s only 40 minutes so even when it feels too hard you know it’s not going to last forever. My one thing is I’d prefer if the class was slightly longer to included some guided stretching after, but I figured there might not be with how short the class is when I signed up. But it is nice that the instructor encourages you to stretch on your own after class and isn’t rushing anyone out of the studio. Will definitely be back!
